Photo Shoot #1

Nothing is more exciting than throwing a photo shoot into the middle of an intense training program.  It sure gave me a motivational boost.  At the very least this is documenting a moment in time – my progress through my journey.  Just over the last couple years my body has changed.  I sometimes watch myself  in the cycling class and am amazed at how much my form has changed – it just looks so cool.

Those who know me know that I have this incredible drive to succeed; in everything I do.  These photo’s really tell the story of my determination.

  • I want to be the best parent I can be to my children and provide them with solid tools to succeed in life and to strive to be the best they can be; what parent doesn’t right!
  • I want to be the best in my professional career; striving to make a difference within our community.  Being a professional in the public sector I always look at efficiencies within an organization and what improvements could benefit the people within the community.  Better yet, in what ways can I get our community involved in those changes.
  • I want to be the best athlete I can be; to continue to challenge my abilities and strive to reach my personal best.

I don’t believe there is a such thing as perfect.  Perfection is in the eye of the beholder.  I know that in all that I do I may have setbacks which I only see as a perfect opportunity to learn and grow from the experience.  I look at is as a growth opportunity that will only take me to that next level of achievement and make me better in all that I do.

Determination

\di-ˌtər-mə-ˈnā-shən\

a fixed purpose, the power and will to persist,
resolve, to have the drive,
to have the grit, to go the distance,
to be hell-bent on reaching a goal
and getting it done no matter what.
